Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.
~Martin Luther King Jr.~
It’s official. The circus that was Ringling Brothers is set to close.

Animal tourism will still exist without a circus: safaris, whale watching, seeing gorillas in Rwanda and visiting Sepilok, an orangutan rehabilitation in Malaysia, just to name a few. You may also encounter a camel ride, dolphin show or zoo on your travels. Make sure to check that animal welfare is a priority in businesses that cater to tourists seeking an animal experience.
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day!
