How can you put the concept of fair trade into practice when you travel? At your accommodation.

Are the hotel staff fairly paid and well treated? Are the linens ‘ethically sourced’? (i.e. made of fairly-traded cotton?) Are other hotel supplies also ethically sourced? Is the coffee, tea and chocolate served at the hotel restaurant/café fair-trade?

When consumers inquire about and request such things, it can be put into practice. Be part of creating a demand that will affect the supply.
