Today is Día de los Muertos, a day to honour the dearly departed. It is celebrated in México every November 1st. Colourfully painted skeletons and sugar skulls help mark the occasion and the mood is festive rather than mournful. It also coincides with the holiday of Pagan origin, All Saints Day, another occasion to remember the deceased.

A safe journey to all souls that travel the world.
