The Glacier Skywalk in Jasper, Alberta, Canada is due to open today. Jasper, a town in the Canadian Rockies, is about 363km from the province’s capital of Edmonton. It is located in Jasper National Park where there is golfing in summer, skiing in winter and a whole lot of mountains, glaciers and hot springs year-round. You might even see some wildlife if you’re lucky – both alive and ancient (i.e. fossils). The Glacier Skywalk allows you to peruse the breathtaking scenery from a height of about 900 feet.
