ANZAC Day 2014

After a brief hiatus we are back with a new look. And it just so happens to be ANZAC Day in the northern hemisphere.

ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and April 25th has become the day that observes the war efforts of New Zealanders and Australians. The day originated from the battle of Gallipoli in Turkey but has now come to symbolize war in general.

Commemorative events are held all over the world with the most notable taking place in major cities in Australia and New Zealand as well as Gallipoli, Turkey. Below are photos of my trip to said site in Turkey.
