Another Earth Hour has come and gone. It is a time when many cities around the world forgo the use of electricity for one hour. This annual event began in Sydney Australia in 2007 and has become global. The idea is to call for action on climate change.
Major sites turned off their lights during 8:30-9:30pm local time to mark this occasion. The movement continues to grow.
Wherever you are in the world for Earth Hour, take a moment to reflect upon all that this world has to offer (and carry a flashlight too for safety!)
