As the month of February comes to a close, Black History Month concludes for another year.
From Lucy* in Ethiopia, to the displaced Nubians of Egypt, the Zulu in South Africa and the Gnawa in Morocco, the African continent is home to numerous diverse cultures. Many have ventured away from their homeland, some by choice and others by force.
In many places throughout the world the rich African diaspora has left its mark. We hope you will explore and appreciate it in February and beyond.
