Looking for a gift? Why not Adopt an Orangutan on behalf of a loved one? A gift with meaning for you, the recipient and cousin to Homosapiens.

The state of Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo is home to the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary. Tours and volunteer projects here help to preserve these adorably furry ginger apes. Orangutan habitats are in danger due to deforestation and agribusinesses and without a home these apes will fail to survive.

An act of social-consciousness:
If you must use palm oil make sure it is orangutan-friendly!
The burgeoning palm oil industry is the main culprit that threatens the orangutan habitat. Palm oil is an ingredient that can be found in many food and personal care products.
