February may be the shortest month of the year but it attempts to cram over 400 years of history into its 28 days. It is Black History Month in Canada and the U.S., a time to recognize, celebrate and commemorate the achievements of African Canadians and Americans. Many cities will be offering various events over the next 4 weeks and we too will be doing our part by bringing you regular posts focusing on African Canadian history.
